Our History
Since 2009
From moonlighting to Marketecs, our story is one we are proud of.
Strategic Office Support was founded by Kathrine Farris in 2009. Kathrine had a vision of using and sharing her skills technology and experience in project management to help local businesses become more efficient and productive. Kathrine envisioned partnering with companies and becoming an integral part of their business strategy and planning by providing professional support they could rely on and trust.
For the first few years, Kathrine ran the company, with the support of contractors, while still maintaining a full time career in finance. In 2013, Kathrine took the leap into full-time entrepreneurship, with a dedicated team of contractors at her side. Some of of those contractors are still with us today, joined by several valued employees.
Since its inception, Strategic Office Support has assisted and consulted companies of all sizes, in a variety of industries, and on a variety of topics. As we continued to evolve and increase our services and specialties, creating partnerships and building a team of business professionals who can assist with everything from data entry to marketing automation and graphic design… It became obvious that a new brand was emerging – Marketecs!
Most recently, we have expanded our ability by now offering Marketecs as a software! Our platform is a fully integrated space for all the marketing needs of our clients, at an affordable rate. We couldn’t be more excited to bring this next level of support!
